Creative Uses for Lexy

What a beautiful day in San Francisco. Here's a cool story I just heard about how a family is using Lexy...

Everyone in the family -- Mom, Dad, daughter in high school, son in middle school -- is subscribed to Merriam-Webster's Word of the Day quikcast. They each listen to WOD on Lexy in the morning, try to use the word during their day, and then during their dinnertime conversation, they have to try to use the word in conversation. Strong commitment to vocabulary-building and a fun way to bring the family together.

I imagine today's Word of the Day, "subreption," may prove a bit challenging :-).

I like using Lexy to hear the top of the hour news during the day. Its way more convenient than listening on the radio and it's almost always up to date whenever I call in.
